I have owned alot of small flashlights in the career fields I have been in, plumbing and now ems. They have always been maglights. I think it had more to do with the cost than anything else. My maglights would always break in one way or another. I guess you get what you pay for. My Surefire kicks ass. You just see and feel the quality in the Surefire and that is something you don't get in a maglight. It is insane how bright the light is and that you can adjust the brightness of the bulb. Even when I put an led setup on my maglight it never even came close. I should have shut up and put up the money for one along time ago. Maglight will never get another dime out of me.
