I needed a pair of longish compression shorts for running. These are exceptional for that purpose. They do not chafe or rise up too far (there is a bit of shifting, to be sure, but they don't bunch or anything). I was so satisfied with my first pair that I just purchased another. If you're considering purchasing compression shorts for running or any long endurance exercise, I'd seriously consider these. They are of high quality (they have held up well in the washer and dryer after about 2 months-- so far, so good) and are stylish.
